Hooping it up for a lifetime!

Could the Meredith Angels beat the Wesleyan Bishops after a heartfelt lost last time?


Meredith was gearing up about to face their opponent that gave them a little bit of a challenge last time. Offense sales tickets and Defense wins games. Let see what team will take that into consideration. Game time!


Jump Ball Get It Get It! Wesleyan wins the opening tip!


Point Guard Kourtney Salisbury controls the ball for Wesleyan in the opening procession. Right from the start a three point from the freshmen Netaih Davis. Next play of the ball game Senior guard Meghan Rahn hits a three pointer for the Meredith Angels.

We got us a game folks! Meredith begins to form a big league on the Wesleyan Bishops.The Wesleyan coach is heated up now.



The second quarter is play and right from the gate the Meredith Angels hit a powerhouse shot down low. Suddenly Wesleyan College is down only by one point. A timeout is called by the Meredith Angels to possibly get a stop on defense.


Sophomore guard Tiffany Bell hit a huge field goal for the Bishops. That gave the team a confidence booster.


After a rocky start, junior guard Leann Brenan hit a three pointer from the corner. It gave the Bishops the lead.

The Meredith Angels come up short again folks! The final score was seventy -three to sixty- seven. "I believe the girls play a wonderful game without having some of their starters , said Joyce Richardson, a Meredith fan watching the game.
