The Pacers playing like the Pros!

Could the Peace Pacers beat there rival tonight? Maybe or Maybe Not!

The Peace Pacers came out with lots of energy and played their hearts out. They could not seem to hold on againist the Battling Bishops.

Point guard Krystal Williams had a sensational night she led the Pacers in rebounding and scoring. Williams scored 16 points and grabbed  6 rebounds .Shooting guard Crystal Alston hit some huge shots during the stretch to give the team a boost.
Freshmen Derica Jones had a big night for the Pacers. She was all over the basketball court making huge plays for her coach. Junior Mia Sloan had a slow start for the Pacers but in the second quarter she made some huge defensive plays to get the Pacers back in the game.
Senior guard Meghan Bridges had a wonderful night for the Pacers also. She had a total of six points and some real huge plays in the last quarter. It was a minute and fifty seconds on the clock and Krystal Williams missed a key free throw for the Pacers. Guess who was there for the put back? Superstar Meghan Bridges!
Becky Davis  gave the Pacers a little boost off the bench. She snatched 5 rebounds and scored 4 points. Callie Yohn was unbelieveable she gave the Pacers some hope. She made some aggressive plays down low and took some really tough hits. Yohn leadership ability gave the Pacers a little spark but it wasn't enough to beat those tough necks.
The game was very close towards the end but those hoopsters could seem to hold on. The heartbroken Pacers lost my five points. "I believe if the Pacers played more as team they could win more games", said Amanda Sacreno a junior at Peace College.
Never Give Up. Never Lose Faith. We are the Peace Pacers !
